TON Launches TON Factory for High-Throughput Blockchain Applications

Telegram-linked blockchain project The Open Network (TON) has introduced TON Factory, a new platform designed to accelerate the development and scalability of high-throughput applications such as decentralized exchanges (DEXs) and blockchain-based games. The platform aims to help developers rapidly build and scale projects with modular components, integration tools, and hands-on expert support. This initiative is backed by a team of over 150 engineers with experience delivering production-ready infrastructure in the TON ecosystem.

The underlying architecture of TON Factory leverages Broxus’ Tycho protocol, which combines the TVM with a Directed Acyclic Graph (DAG) consensus mechanism. This hybrid design is intended to achieve near-instant finality and high throughput, reportedly handling up to 35,000 transactions per second (TPS). This benchmark positions TON Factory as a serious competitor to other layer-1 and layer-2 scaling solutions. TON Factory also supports custom TVM chain deployments and offers tailored scaling solutions, helping ambitious teams drive the ecosystem forward.

TON Factory allows developers to create dedicated app chains with isolated blockspace and compute resources, providing the necessary flexibility and scalability for high-performance workloads. This is particularly important for high-throughput applications such as games and DEXs, which require robust and scalable infrastructure to handle large volumes of transactions and users. Participants can compete to win Toncoin and exclusive Soulbound Tokens (SBTs) by submitting their solutions to the challenge. The Tact Smart Battle challenge is open to all developers and provides a platform for them to demonstrate their expertise in smart contract development. The challenge includes a scoring system that awards points for both logic correctness and gas efficiency, encouraging participants to optimize their solutions for performance. The total prize pool for the challenge is $20,000 in Toncoin, with the top 128 participants receiving prizes and SBTs.
