Tigo Energy will showcase its 4.3MW optimized rapid shutdown project at Intersolar 2025 in Brazil. The project features installer Innovatis and demonstrates the collaboration on a 5,400 Tigo TS4 optimizer hospital project, delivering enhanced solar power, reliability, and safety. Tigo's TS4-X products support rapid shutdown for high-power solar modules, up to 800W and 25A, and pair with third-party solar inverters for flexibility. The TS4-X family includes devices with optimization, advanced monitoring, and rapid shutdown-only options.
Title: Tigo Energy to Highlight 4.3MW Optimized Rapid Shutdown Project at Intersolar 2025
Tigo Energy, Inc. (NASDAQ: TYGO), a leading provider of intelligent solar and energy software solutions, will showcase its 4.3MW optimized rapid shutdown project at the Intersolar South America 2025 tradeshow. The project, which features Brazilian installer Innovatis Engenharia e Sustentabilidade, demonstrates Tigo's commitment to enhancing solar power, reliability, and safety in the commercial and industrial (C&I) sectors.
The Tigo booth at Intersolar 2025 will highlight the TS4-X, the most powerful Tigo MLPE devices, designed to serve both C&I and utility solar markets. These devices support rapid shutdown for the latest high-power solar modules, up to 800W and 25A, ensuring fire safety for system owners, firefighters, and first responders. The TS4-X family includes devices with optimization, advanced monitoring, and rapid shutdown-only options, providing flexibility for solar installers and engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) specialists.
Innovatis Engenharia e Sustentabilidade, a premier solar EPC company, will showcase its Hospital da Criança de Brasília (HCB) project, featuring 5,400 Tigo TS4-A-O optimizers. This project preemptively met the most stringent safety and rapid shutdown standards, even before they became legal requirements. The TS4-X products, compatible with Pure Signal™ technology in Tigo RSS Transmitters, offer a Multi-Factor Rapid Shutdown (MFRS) option for energy-critical applications.
“We are delighted to collaborate with Innovatis at Intersolar this year because our companies are aligned on performance, safety, and quality in solar,” said Manoel Monteiro, sales and marketing manager Latam at Tigo Energy. “Just two years ago, the demand for solar rapid shutdown in Brazil came from the firefighting community, but since that time, the market and our customers themselves have pushed for this obvious solar safety feature.”
Tigo Energy's rapid shutdown solutions are designed to meet the growing demand for safety and compliance in solar installations. In Brazil, states such as Minas Gerais, Mato Grosso, Distrito Federal, and Goias have codified rapid shutdown requirements for solar, with other states in the process of doing the same. The TS4-X devices pair with an industry-leading list of third-party solar inverters, providing enhanced design and installation flexibility.
Tigo Energy, founded in 2007, is a worldwide leader in smart hardware and software solutions for residential, commercial, and utility-scale solar systems. The company's products maximize performance, enable real-time energy monitoring, and provide code-required rapid shutdown at the module level. Tigo's solutions have already generated more than 200GWh of Reclaimed Energy across over 130,000 optimized solar systems monitored by Tigo, demonstrating the company's commitment to innovation and reliability.
Intersolar South America 2025 will take place from August 26th to 28th in São Paulo, Brazil. Tigo Energy will exhibit its innovative solar optimization, monitoring, and rapid shutdown solutions at booth G1.90.
