Threads, a new social platform under Meta Platforms(META.US), has rolled out some new features that will make the platform more useful for businesses and digital creators, the company said in a blog post.

Meta announced in a blog post that Threads users can now view data, see post metrics and follower statistics, and write multiple draft posts. The company will also launch a feature that allows users to schedule multiple posts in advance. These feature updates will first be added to Threads' network site and eventually rolled out to the mobile app.

As a competitor to X, Meta's goal is to attract more users with better tools. These new features are especially likely to attract creators and businesses, as they rely on detailed demographic data and user engagement. "We want Threads to be a place where conversations are sparked, helping people, businesses, and creators connect around their interests," the company said in the blog post. "We've been continuously improving Threads to address the biggest pain points people are facing."

Data shows that Threads had more than 200 million monthly active users as of August this year. While Threads' user growth has slowed down from its initial launch, it has maintained a steady growth trend. Some Meta employees have revealed that most of Threads' growth still comes from within Instagram, where users share the same account system. Currently, Threads is still in a loss, and Meta's executives are reportedly considering introducing an ad system "sometime next year," according to the blog post.

Turning market noise into visual signal.
