Teslas Trading Volume Leads Amid Global Auto Challenges

1. Tesla (Nasdaq: TSLA)
Tesla gained mildly by 2.90%, with the trading volume of 34.11B. Tesla's Q3 net profit rose 17% year-on-year amid challenges in the global automotive market. A major influencer publicly apologized to Tesla. Tesla's revamped Model Y was spotted at the Shanghai factory, with sales expected in early 2025.

2. Nvidia (Nasdaq: NVDA)
Nvidia gained mildly by 2.24%, with the trading volume of 30.27B. NVIDIA has announced changes to its GeForce Now cloud gaming service, renaming the Priority plan to Performance, offering 1440p streaming with ultra-wide resolution support. Additionally, increased AI spending has made NVIDIA a significant beneficiary this earnings season with commitments from major clients like Microsoft and Meta.

3. Amazon (Nasdaq: AMZN)
Amazon.Com gained mildly by 1.48%, with the trading volume of 11.03B. Amazon to invest $13 billion in its Italian data center business over five years, expanding its European cloud services. Apple gained mildly by 2.14%, with the trading volume of 9.45B. Apple plans to release the iPhone 16 Pro with numerous upgrades and is rumored to cancel the iPhone 17 Plus version. OLED MacBook Air's debut faces delays to post-2027 due to high costs. Apple introduces the public beta of iOS 18.2.

Meta Platforms gained solidly by 3.42%, with the trading volume of 8.56B. Meta Platforms was fined $15.67 million by South Korean regulators for improperly handling sensitive user data and providing it to advertisers without legal consent. Additionally, LIV released a Unity SDK for MR recording tools in collaboration with Meta.

6. Microsoft (Nasdaq: MSFT)
Microsoft gained mildly by 1.25%, with the trading volume of 8.33B. Microsoft is integrating AI features into its Microsoft 365 subscription service, leading to a slight price increase. Microsoft is also developing portable Xbox hardware and enhancing Windows Server 2025 updates without administrator consent. Additionally, a December update for Teams will improve hyperlink functionality.

7. Palantir Technologies (NYSE: PLTR)
Palantir Technologies gained mildly by 0.61%, with the trading volume of 6.58B. Jefferies downgraded Palantir Technologies Inc's rating to underperform with a new target price of $28. DA Davidson maintained a neutral rating with a target of $47. Palantir's Q3 2024 revenue was $20.38 billion, showing a 26.06% increase year-over-year.

8. Microstrategy Incorporated (Nasdaq: MSTR)
Microstrategy Incorporated gained solidly by 5.04%, with the trading volume of 6.38B. Microstrategy reported significant trading activity on November 7, 2024, with a transaction total of $62.98 billion, ranking it among the top companies on that day in the U.S. stock market.

9. The Sherwin-Williamsmpany (NYSE: SHW)
The Sherwin-Williamsmpany gained mildly by 0.85%, with the trading volume of 6.35B. Sherwin-Williams reported its 2024 Q3 earnings with revenue of $17.801 billion, a 0.01% year-over-year change. Evercore ISI Group maintained an "outperform" rating for Sherwin-Williams with a target price of $420.

10. Mercadolibre (Nasdaq: MELI)
Mercadolibre plunged by -16.21%, with the trading volume of 5.29B. Cantor Fitzgerald maintains an "overweight" rating on Mercadolibre with a target price of $2300. Mercadolibre reported revenue of $94.0 billion for the period ending June 30, 2024.
