Tesla (TSLA.US) China unveils new Model Y starting at RMB263,500

Tesla's website shows the company officially launched its new Model Y SUV in China on Friday and began taking orders. The Model Y has been one of the best-selling electric vehicles in the Chinese market and will start delivering to customers in March after receiving necessary regulatory approval. The new Model Y, which is called Juniper, starts at Rmb263,500 ($35,900) for the standard version, lower than the US price of $39,990.
