Tesla Inc. has notably increased the prices of its vehicles in Canada amidst trade tensions, encouraging potential buyers to opt for vehicles at pre-tariff rates while inventories last.

on its Canadian website over the weekend, urging customers to 'take advantage of pre-tariff pricing while inventory lasts.' This announcement comes on the heels of Canada's retaliatory move against the broad tariffs imposed by President Donald Trump, which includes a 25% tariff on automotive parts produced outside the U.S.-Mexico-Canada Agreement zone.As of April 26, Tesla's new order prices are higher compared to inventory-listed models. For instance, the Long Range All-Wheel Drive Model 3 is now priced at 79,990 Canadian dollars (US$57,700) for new orders, while the same model from the 2025 inventory is priced at approximately 69,000 Canadian dollars.
The company hasn't provided a comment on the situation. The price hike was initially reported by the website driveteslacanada.ca, highlighting that some models, such as the All-Wheel Drive Cybertruck, are now 22% more expensive for Canadian buyers when ordered new.
