Terran Orbital has completed the delivery of 42 satellite bus platforms to Lockheed Martin for the Space Development Agency's (SDA) Tranche 1 Transport Layer program. These platforms form a resilient, low-latency communications network in low Earth orbit, designed to provide secure data connectivity to warfighters worldwide. The inaugural launch of the Tranche 1 Transport and Tracking satellite constellations began on September 10, with nine additional launches expected to occur at a pace of approximately one per month until the entire constellation is fully deployed in 2026.
