On March 1, Tencent's AI assistant "Tencent Yuanbao" officially released its desktop version, supporting Windows and macOS systems.
The desktop version of Tencent Yuanbao released this time is designed for work and learning scenarios, aiming to help users reduce their burden and improve efficiency.
It features core functions consistent with the mobile and web versions, as well as additional convenient functions such as word search and translation, screenshot questioning, etc., to further enhance user experience. In the desktop version, users can experience the same intelligent dialogue capabilities as in the mobile and web versions.
Users can also use the DeepSeek-R1 full version and reasoning model Junyuan T1 for deep thinking, as well as the DeepSeek-V3 and Tencent Junyuan Turbo S to quickly obtain answers, meeting different scenarios' needs. Combined with Tencent's content sources such as public accounts and authoritative Internet information, it ensures that the provided answers are more timely and credible.
Earlier, Tencent Yuanbao enabled DeepSeek to have the ability to read pictures, which was popular with users.
Now the reading picture ability is also fully online in the desktop version. Users can take screenshots or send any pictures at will, and Yuanbao can give its own analysis and understanding based on the picture content. In addition, the desktop version also supports parsing files, greatly improving the reading efficiency of files, papers, etc.
It is reported that Tencent Yuanbao's desktop version will also launch more innovative functions in the future to further enhance user experience. In the past two weeks, Tencent Yuanbao has undergone a series of rapid iterations. On February 13, Tencent Yuanbao integrated the DeepSeek-R1 full version and supported the Junyuan and DeepSeek models; on February 17, the depth thinking model "Junyuan T1" was grayed out; on February 18, it supported WeChat search and supported more users using DeepSeek; on February 19, the full version of the depth thinking model "Junyuan T1" was launched; on February 21, both the DeepSeek and Junyuan models could understand picture information; on February 25, it supported one-click to export the dialogue as a long picture; on March 1, Tencent Yuanbao officially launched the desktop version, and the Junyuan Turbo S was grayed out.
Tencent said that in the future, Tencent Yuanbao will continue to optimize product performance and launch more innovative functions to further enhance AI application experience and meet users' needs in various scenarios.
