Several major tech companies, including Apple, Synopsys, Hewlett-Packard, Playtika, and HP, are cutting jobs in November 2025, with HP planning to reduce between 4,000 and 6,000 positions worldwide by 2028. Apple is simplifying sales processes, while Monarch Tractor may lay off over 100 workers or shut down. Playtika plans to cut about 20% of its workforce, and Pipe has laid off roughly half its workforce to drive profitability. Synopsys is cutting around 10% of its staff and closing several sites in fiscal 2026.
