Tasmania Police will join the renewed search for missing Belgian tourist Celine Cremer, whose mobile phone was found on Saturday. Cremer disappeared after a bushwalk in June 2023 and police believe she left the walking track to take a straight line to the car park. The phone was found in good condition and is being forensically examined. The search was postponed due to bad weather, but police search and rescue personnel and trained volunteers will join the search when it resumes.
