Targa Exploration Corp. is expanding its diamond drilling program at the Opinaca Gold Project in Quebec. The program has progressed ahead of schedule and under budget, with 2,513m and five drillholes completed as of October 6th. The approved expansion will add an additional 750m to the program, bringing the total to 3,250m. The goal is to discover which bedrock lithology units are hosts to gold in the area.

Clarity Metals (OTC: CLGCF) has announced that it has received all necessary permits to commence drilling at its 100% owned Fecteau Gold Project in Quebec's Abitibi region. The company plans to conduct a drill campaign targeting step-outs from known showings and new targets identified through previous field programs. Technominex Inc. has been engaged to provide technical and operational support, while logistics and drill contractor arrangements are being finalized.

The Fecteau Property is situated in the Urban-Barry belt, adjacent to Gold Fields' Windfall Gold Project. The Abitibi Subprovince, where the project is located, is the world's largest greenstone belt by gold endowment. Clarity has already spent $1.4 million on exploration at the Fecteau Property, with previous drilling returning high-grade intercepts, including 14.91 g/t Au over 1.0 m.

The company's Qualified Person, Ms. Nathalie Landry, P. Geo., has reviewed the technical information and stated that the property has demonstrated mineral potential. The drill campaign aims to further test the potential of the Fecteau Property and potentially discover new targets similar to those on adjacent projects.
