TAO Alpha Appoints Mark Moss as Chief Bitcoin Strategist

TAO Alpha PLC, a U.K.-based artificial intelligence and infrastructure company, has appointed Mark Moss, a prominent internet personality and Bitcoin advocate, as its Chief Bitcoin Strategist. This appointment is part of the company's rebranding efforts, during which it will also establish a Bitcoin (BTC) treasury strategy under Moss's guidance. The rebranding will see the company renamed as Satsuma Technology.

Mark Moss will assume his new role starting from August 1, 2025. Concurrently, TAO Alpha plans to conclude its private investor offering of shares for U.K. and U.S. investors, which commenced on June 24 and June 27, respectively. In his new position, Moss will collaborate with the Board of Directors to optimize the company’s Bitcoin-focused treasury. The goal is to accelerate and efficiently perform to the benefit of the company’s core business, potentially raising “non-dilutive” capital and generating BTC yield through the treasury.

Chairman of TAO Alpha, Matt Lodge, expressed enthusiasm about the appointment, stating that Moss's expertise and influence in the Bitcoin sector will be instrumental in expanding the company’s shift into decentralized finance. Lodge highlighted Moss's advocacy for Bitcoin and his significant impact on the DeFi community, making him a valuable addition to the team.

Mark Moss is an American entrepreneur, investor, educator, and vocal advocate of Bitcoin and sound money. He entered the crypto space in 2015 with the launch of his online crypto publication Block United, which was later rebranded to Signal Profits around 2016. Moss's YouTube channel, named after himself, boasts approximately 713,000 subscribers and over 1,300 educational and market-analysis videos. These videos focus on educating institutions on how to embed Bitcoin into their treasury strategies.

In addition to his YouTube presence, Moss hosts The Mark Moss Show, a nationally syndicated iHeartRadio podcast. The show delves into topics such as Bitcoin, macroeconomics, AI, decentralization, and economic trends. Moss is also a frequent guest on other podcasts, where he discusses Bitcoin price forecasts and macro investment strategies.
