Taiwan Semiconductor's Fab 4 Fully Booked Before Construction Begins

Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) has announced that its new Fab 4 facility is fully booked before construction even begins. The facility, which is expected to cost around $20 billion, will have a monthly output of 80,000 wafers, or roughly 20% of TSMC's total capacity. The demand for TSMC's services is driven by the growing demand for advanced semiconductors in the electronics industry, particularly in the fields of artificial intelligence, 5G, and automotive applications.
