Kintayl Capital has acquired 152,144 shares of Synovus Financial Corp for $7.5 million, representing 4.6% of its reportable assets under management. The new position places outside the fund's top five holdings. Synovus Financial Corp is a regional bank holding company with a diversified portfolio of financial services, operating through a network of branches and ATMs concentrated in the Southeast. The company is preparing for a merger with Pinnacle Financial Partners, which is expected to close on January 1.
