Supreme Court Rejects HDFC Bank CEO's Plea Against Lilavati Trust FIR

The Supreme Court has dismissed HDFC Bank CEO Sashidhar Jagdishan's plea challenging an FIR registered against him by the Lilavati Kirtilal Mehta Medical Trust. The court noted that the matter is already listed for hearing in the Bombay High Court and will not entertain the plea. Jagdishan faces charges of cheating and fraud over an alleged bribe of Rs 2.05 crore. The Trust has also filed a defamation case against Jagdishan.
