Supermicro and Lambda have collaborated to deploy AI infrastructure using Supermicro's GPU-optimized servers, including NVIDIA Blackwell-based systems. Lambda's AI factories can now handle demanding AI workloads with energy-efficient and sustainable solutions. The partnership aims to accelerate the path to Superintelligence by enabling large-scale compute for customers.
Supermicro and Lambda have entered into a strategic partnership to deploy advanced AI infrastructure using Supermicro's GPU-optimized servers, including NVIDIA Blackwell-based systems. This collaboration aims to accelerate the path to Superintelligence by enabling large-scale compute capabilities for customers.
Lambda, the Superintelligence Cloud, has deployed a broad portfolio of Supermicro GPU-optimized servers, including NVIDIA HGX B200 and H200-based systems, at Cologix's COL4 ScalelogixSM data center in Columbus, Ohio. The deployment of these systems allows Lambda to offer high-performance AI solutions to its customers in the Midwest region [2].
Supermicro's advanced liquid-cooling technology is a key highlight of this collaboration. The liquid-cooled servers significantly reduce power and cooling costs, enabling energy efficiency and sustainability. This technology is crucial for large-scale AI workloads, which require substantial computational resources [2].
Vik Malyala, SVP, Technology & AI at Supermicro, stated, "Supermicro is excited to collaborate with Lambda on powerful technology to push the boundaries of AI infrastructure. Our broad range of GPU-optimized servers enable leaders like Lambda to deliver powerful, flexible, and energy-efficient solutions that can handle demanding AI workloads" [2].
Ken Patchett, VP Data Center Infrastructure at Lambda, added, "Lambda is on a mission to accelerate the path to Superintelligence, building gigawatt-scale AI factories for training and inference for the world's top AI labs, enterprises, and hyperscalers. As we strive to create infinite-scale compute for our customers, the depth of Supermicro's server portfolio is a valuable asset for meeting our present and future needs" [2].
The collaboration between Supermicro, Lambda, and Cologix is set to enable rapid AI development across the Midwest and in key industries such as healthcare, finance, manufacturing, retail, and logistics. By offering the fastest path to production-ready AI and added flexibility to integrate with hyperscaler environments, these companies are building the digital backbone for AI and Superintelligence [2].
