Supermicro, DataVolt Partner for $200B AI Campus in Saudi Arabia

Supermicro, a leading manufacturer of AI servers and high-performance computing platforms, has announced a significant strategic partnership with DataVolt, a prominent data center company based in Saudi Arabia. The collaboration, valued at 200 billion, aims to establish a large-scale AI campus in the Kingdom, fostering digital transformation and technological innovation in the region.

The partnership, outlined in a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), will see Supermicro and DataVolt work together to build an advanced AI ecosystem. This initiative is designed to attract global enterprises and talent, positioning Saudi Arabia as a key player in the global technology landscape. The AI campus will integrate cutting-edge AI technologies, providing unprecedented scale and sustainability for clients.

Supermicro's advanced liquid cooling solutions are expected to reduce power costs by up to 40%, accelerate deployment and go-live times, and enable data centers to operate more efficiently with lower Power Usage Effectiveness (PUE). The collaboration will also expedite the delivery of Supermicro's ultra-dense GPU platforms, storage, and rack PnP systems, supporting DataVolt's gigawatt-scale renewable and net-zero green AI campus.
