Superior HealthPlan, a leading managed care organization in Texas and a company of Centene (NYSE: CNC), has recently completed a significant back-to-school initiative that reached 45,000 Texans across 46 communities through 88 events. The initiative, which took place in July and August, provided over $32,000 in funding to support students as they prepare for the 2025-26 school year.

The events offered a range of comprehensive health and educational resources, including health checkups, vaccines, school supplies, and clothing. One notable event was the 24th Annual Wellness Fair in Uvalde, which saw approximately 3,000 attendees at the new Community Health Development, Inc. (CHDI) multi-purpose center. The fair was partially funded by Superior HealthPlan and the Centene Foundation.

Superior HealthPlan's participation in these events reflects its commitment to social responsibility and serving low-income communities. The organization has been actively involved in local communities across Texas, supporting active local involvement in all 254 Texas counties with 3,500 employees throughout the state.
