IntroductionMP Materials Corp. was incorporated in Delaware on January 24, 2020. MP Materials Corp. and its subsidiaries are the largest producers of rare earth materials in the Western Hemisphere. The company owns and operates the Mountain Pass rare earth mine and processing facility, the only active large-scale rare earth mining and processing site in North America. The rare earth concentrates currently produced by the company are mainly sold under Offtake Agreements, which typically sell the product to refiners in China. These refiners separate the rare earth elements contained in the company's concentrates and sell the separated products to customers.
