The company is a specialty finance company that invests and finances residential mortgage assets. The Company's target investments consist primarily of the following: Residential whole loans, including non-QM loans, commercial use loans and legacy RPL/NPL loans, which are acquired and held by the Company through certain trusts that are consolidated on the balance sheet for financial reporting purposes. Residential mortgage-backed securities, including agency MBS, non-agency MBS and CRT securities.
