Huatong Securities International is a holding company incorporated in the British Virgin Islands on June 25, 2010. The company mainly provides securities brokerage and financial technology services through its Hong Kong, China subsidiaries Huatong Securities International Limited (WSI) and Waton Technology International Limited (WTI). WSI is principally engaged in the provision of (i) securities brokerage services for securities listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange of China, including shares under Shanghai-Hong Kong Stock Connect and Shenzhen-Hong Kong Stock Connect, the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) and the Nasdaq Stock Market, margin financing and securities lending services and other ancillary services and bond distribution services to its corporate and individual brokerage clients through WSI's electronic trading platform; and (ii) software licensing and related support services, Including the provision of licensing, upgrades and enhancements, maintenance and other related services of the trading platform APP to financial institutions. Since September 2023, WTI has been providing software licensing and related support services to focus on expertise in operations and services.
