Sono Group N.V. was incorporated under the laws of the Netherlands on October 23, 2020. In 2024, the company will expand its product portfolio beyond solar bus kits to include similar solar integrated solutions for other commercial vehicle categories, including trucks, vans, RVs, refrigerated trailers, coaches and panel vans. In early 2025, the company added their products, which also include high-voltage solar solutions, utilizing their proprietary solar charging controllers, also known as MCUs. This advanced technology allows solar energy to be seamlessly integrated into the high-voltage system of commercial vehicles with high energy demand.
