In August 2001, the company changed its name to Oculus Innovative Sciences, Inc. In December 2006, the company was re-incorporated under Delaware law and is a global healthcare leader in the development and production of stable hypochlorous acid or HOCl products, which are widely used in wound care, animal health, eye care, oral health and dermatology.
