Pyxis Tankers Inc., was founded on March 23, 2015. The company is an international shipping company focusing on medium-sized eco-ships in the product tanker and dry bulk sectors. All of their vessels in the product tanker fleet are eco-efficient MR tankers, each with IMO certification, capable of transporting refined petroleum products such as naphtha, gasoline, jet fuel, kerosene, diesel and fuel oil, as well as other liquid bulk items such as vegetable oil and organic chemicals. As part of its strategic diversification strategy, in 2023, the company entered the dry bulk field, which has historically been relatively countercyclical to product tankers.
