Founded in 1995 by MYR Group Inc., a holding company for a professional electrical engineering service provider, it was merged through a long-standing professional contractor. Through its affiliates, the Company has been serving the electric utility infrastructure market since 1891. These businesses are currently carried out by six operating subsidiaries: L. E. Myers Company; Harlan Electric Company; Eagle Eye Construction Company; Great Southwest Construction Company; Sturgeon Appliances Company Limited and MYR Transmission Services Company Limited.
