Kentucky First Federal Bancorp was established on March 2, 2005 as a mid-tier holding company under the supervision of U.S. law after completing the reorganization of the First Federal Savings Institution and the Loan Risk Association as a mutual holding organization. The Company's loan portfolio consists primarily of one- to four-family residential mortgages. The company also offers loans secured by churches, commercial real estate and multifamily real estate when opportunities arise. The company also offers loans collateralized by deposit accounts and home mortgages through First Federal of Kentucky. Substantially all of the company's loans are offered within the banks' respective market areas.
