Intellicheck, Inc., was originally incorporated in New York State in 1994 as Intelli-Check Corporation. In August 1999, the company merged in Delaware. On March 14, 2008, after the successful merger with Mobilisa, it was renamed Intelli-Check – Mobilisa. The company's main business is identification system products, including commercial applications for ID card identification and verification, government purchases for national defense security and ID card applications, and the development of wireless security applications.
