The Company conducts its business primarily through its wholly-owned subsidiary, BayVanguard Bank (the "Bank "), a Maryland-chartered commercial bank. The bank is a community-oriented financial institution that provides traditional financial services to local communities. The bank is mainly engaged in the business of attracting public deposits and uses these funds to issue loans for one- to four-family real estate, construction, multi-family, commercial real estate, farm, marine, commercial and consumer loans.
