Comstock Inc. has closed the sale of its mineral, mining, processing, and mining-district-related real estate entities to Mackay Precious Metals Inc. for over $45 million. The company received $20 million in cash and 2 million common shares of Mackay Gold & Silver Corp. valued at approximately $4.5 million. Comstock expects to record a gain of $10 million to $12 million, with no cash taxes expected.
