Denison Mines Corp. is a uranium exploration and development company with development projects in Canada, Zambia, Mali, Namibia, Niger and Mongolia. Including the high-grade deposit in Phoenix, which has 60% rounds of projects, Denison's exploration portfolio includes numerous projects totaling approximately 390,000 hectares in the eastern part of the Athabasca Basin in Saskatchewan. Denison also has an equity interest in Saskatchewan and also includes a 22.5% interest in a joint venture in McClean Lakes, which includes several uranium mines and a uranium mine McClean Lakes (one of the largest uranium processing plants in the world), plus a 25.17% interest deposit in the Midwest and a 60% interest deposit in Zone J at the Waterbury property. Denison merged to form International Uranium Corporation, effective until May 9, 1997, under the Business Companies Act.
