Stock Surge: Coupang, AMD, Sea, Nvidia, and Dexcom Shine in Q2 2024

1. Coupang (NYSE: CPNG)
Coupang gained solidly by 5.06%. Coupang disclosed insider transactions on August 15, 14, and 12, 2024. Executives Kolari Pranam and Anand Gaurav sold shares, while GreensOaks Capital Partners LLC bought shares. Coupang reported a net loss of $1.29 billion in the first half of 2024, with Q2 revenue growing 25% to $7.32 billion.

2. Advanced Micro Devices (Unknown code: AMD)
Advanced Micro Devices gained solidly by 4.52%. Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) is set to unveil four new products on October 10, and recently acquired a European AI lab for $6.8 billion.

3. Sea Limited (NYSE: SE)
Sea Limited gained solidly by 4.39%. Sea Limited reported 2024 mid-year revenue of $7.541 billion, up 22.89% YoY, and net income of $56.91 million. Barclays, JP Morgan, and B of A Securities maintained or upgraded Sea's rating, raising their price targets to $94, $90, and $84 respectively.

4. Nvidia (Nasdaq: NVDA)
Nvidia gained solidly by 4.35%. Goldman Sachs reiterated its Buy rating on Nvidia with a new target price of $135. Nvidia posted Q1 FY2025 revenue of $26.044 billion and net profit of $14.881 billion.

5. Dexcom (Nasdaq: DXCM)
Dexcom gained solidly by 4.07%. Dexcom reported Q2 2024 revenue of $1.925 billion, up 19.38 percent YOY, with $290 million in net profit. Baird, Barclays, Piper Sandler, and BTIG issued neutral, equal-weight, overweight, and buy ratings respectively, with updated price targets of $82, $113, $90, and $120.
