Stellantis, parent company of Vauxhall, Peugeot, Citroen, and other brands, is recalling 44,000 UK petrol cars due to a fire risk. The recall affects 700,000 cars globally, including Alfa Romeo, DS, Fiat, and Jeep models. The issue is related to the gasoline particulate filter pipe and starter-generator cap, which can cause overheating or a fire. Drivers will receive a notice letter to schedule a repair, which is estimated to take half an hour to complete at no cost.
