The awards were presented at the St. Regis hotel in Washington, D.C., during the Summit for Sustainable Business VIII: Decarbonizing Corporate Global Operations. The company has set a strong near-term Science-Based Target (SBT) with concrete implementation plans, signed a significant Virtual Power Purchase Agreement (VPPA) for 90MW of the Millers Branch 3 project with the Net Zero Consortium for Buyers (NZCB), and actively participated in SBER research on function design, sustainably healthy workplaces, and gaining buy-in for decarbonization initiatives. Nell Triplett, Director of Sustainability at Juniper Networks, was recognized as an Outstanding Executive for her leadership in sustainability. Triplett has secured approval for Juniper's Science-Based Target (SBT) and led the company in aggregated Virtual Power Purchase Agreements (VPPAs) for renewable energy, such as the 40MW Millers Branch 2 project with the NZCB. She has also collaborated extensively on SBER research projects, including strategies for gaining buy-in for decarbonization initiatives and mandatory reporting. Triplett's efforts have fostered environments for candid, practical conversations among Member-Client executives, driving shared progress in sustainability.

IDEXX, a global leader in veterinary diagnostics and software, was awarded the Breakthrough Corporate Leader Award for its rapid progress in environmental sustainability. The company has completed a VPPA for 20MW of the Millers Branch 2 project with the NZCB, actively participated in additional aggregated procurements for purchaser-caused renewable electricity in the U.S. and Europe, and fostered candid conversations among Member-Client executives. IDEXX's commitment to renewable energy procurement has not only contributed to its recognition as a leader in sustainability but also reinforced its global leadership in veterinary diagnostics and software.
