This partnership allows authors to leverage ElevenLabs' AI tools, enabling them to produce audiobooks in 29 different languages, offering a multitude of synthetic voice options. While ElevenLabs offers a free version with a 10-minute text-to-speech limit each month, a professional subscription costing $99 per month is required for generating up to 500 minutes of narration. This feature could make audiobook production more cost-effective for independent authors, facilitating the creation of audiobooks that might otherwise remain untapped.

Spotify's audiobook distribution platform, Findaway Voices, currently accepts digital recordings only from specific partners and stipulates that these recordings undergo review before publishing.
