The combined company employs over 30,000 team members, operates almost 60 distribution centers, and serves nearly 10,000 customers across the US. The acquisition expands C&S' footprint in the wholesale grocery industry.

C&S Wholesale Grocers, LLC has completed its acquisition of SpartanNash Company, marking the end of SpartanNash's 25-year run on the Nasdaq. The acquisition, announced today, brings together two industry leaders, resulting in a combined entity that employs over 30,000 team members and operates almost 60 distribution centers across the United States. The new company serves nearly 10,000 customers, including independent retail locations, military commissaries, and exchanges, as well as corporate-run grocery stores.

The acquisition aims to expand C&S's footprint in the wholesale grocery industry and enhance its service offerings.
