South Korean cryptocurrency exchanges Bithumb and Upbit have announced they will list the Aztec (AZTEC) token on their spot trading platforms. AZTEC will be traded against KRW, BTC, and USDT, with deposits and withdrawals via the Ethereum network only. Transactions will begin on February 20, 2026, with reference and deposit prices set. Upbit will restrict buy orders for the first 5 minutes and apply temporary restrictions to sell orders. Aztec is a privacy-focused Layer-2 solution using zero-knowledge technology for secure and programmable smart contracts. Exchanges warn of high risk and advise investors to verify network and contract addresses before transferring funds.
