Sony has recently introduced two new soundbar systems to its Bravia Theatre lineup in India. The Bravia Theatre System 6 and Bravia Theatre Bar 6 are designed to enhance home theatre experiences with advanced audio technologies and features. The Bravia Theatre System 6 is a 5.1-channel setup with a built-in subwoofer, offering 1000W of sound power, while the Bravia Theatre Bar 6 features a 3.1.2-channel configuration with a wireless subwoofer. Both models support Dolby Atmos and DTS:X audio formats, providing immersive soundscapes.

The Bravia Theatre System 6, priced at Rs 49,990, includes Sony’s Vertical Surround Engine and S-Force PRO Front Surround technology to create virtual surround sound effects. The subwoofer in this system uses a high-performance driver and passive radiator to deliver deep bass. The Bravia Theatre Bar 6, priced at Rs 39,990, features upward-firing speakers and a wireless subwoofer for overhead soundscapes and punchy low frequencies. Both soundbars offer AI-based voice enhancement features such as Voice Zoom 3, which adjusts voice volume in real time.

Additional functionalities include Multi Stereo Mode for the Theatre System 6, which replicates stereo audio to center and rear speakers, and Upfiring Speakers for the Theatre Bar 6. Both systems also offer Night Mode to soften loud sound effects and Voice Mode to amplify vocal frequencies. The Bravia Connect app allows users to control volume and settings via smartphone and provides unified control of Bravia TVs and Theatre soundbars.

Sony has also emphasized sustainability and accessibility in these products. The soundbars are made with fabric from recycled PET bottles, and tactile markers and raised frame indicators are included for visually impaired users. The Bravia Connect app supports screen readers for setup assistance.

Both soundbars will be available from July 2025, with the Bravia Theatre Bar 6 launching on July 1st and the Bravia Theatre System 6 on July 3rd. They will be available in Sony retail stores, popular electronics dealers, and major online platforms nationwide.
