Sonoco Products Company, a global leader in sustainable high-value packaging, recently announced the appointment of Scott A. Clark to its Board of Directors [1]. With a distinguished 28-year career at Michelin under his belt, Clark brings a wealth of experience in managing global business segments and geographic markets.
Clark, who is an independent member of the Sonoco board, most recently served as Executive Vice President and Member of Michelin's Group Executive Committee. In this role, he oversaw Michelin's largest global business segments and supervised their largest geographic markets. Prior to this, Clark served as Chairman and President of Michelin North America, as well as various operations and marketing leadership roles in the U.S., France, and Singapore.
Before joining Michelin, Clark began his career as a consumer-packaged goods marketer, overseeing a diverse range of snack, cereal, and pet care brands for the former Ralston Purina and Ralcorp Holdings. His extensive experience in the consumer packaged goods industry will undoubtedly prove invaluable to Sonoco as it continues to grow and innovate.
