Sonim MegaConnect: Ultra-Portable 5G HPUE Wi-Fi Hotspot for Public Safety on FirstNet

Sonim Technologies has launched the MegaConnect, the world's smallest and most affordable high-powered user equipment (HPUE) for FirstNet, a 5G network for first responders. The ultra-portable, ruggedized hotspot transmits 6x the power and is up to 2x faster than standard devices, providing better coverage in rural areas and dense urban buildings. Next-generation AirJet solid-state active cooling from Frore Systems unlocks full HPUE performance. A new, portable dock from Parsec will give the MegaConnect more than double the reach later this year.
