Solstice Advanced Materials has broken ground on a $200 million expansion project in Spokane Valley, Washington, to double its electronic materials facility's production capacity by 2029. The expansion aims to meet growing customer demand for sputtering targets in the rapidly expanding semiconductor industry. The project will create over 80 new positions, invest in local suppliers, and reduce carbon emissions by over 300 metric tons per year.
