Solayer Launches InfiniSVM Network for High-Performance Blockchain

Solayer has recently launched its InfiniSVM Development Network, marking a significant milestone in the blockchain industry. This new network is designed to support hardware acceleration and infinite scalability, positioning itself as a universal execution layer for high-performance blockchain systems. The DevNet, which serves as a live sandbox, allows developers to test, experiment, and build applications, gaining early access to unique features such as token swaps.
The InfiniSVM network addresses the long-standing challenge of blockchain scalability through an innovative hardware-based approach. By offloading tasks such as transaction validation, storage, and processing to dedicated hardware, the network can manage these tasks simultaneously and at accelerated speeds. This is further enhanced by the integration of InfiniBand RDMA (Remote Direct Memory Access), which enables microsecond-level inter-node communication speeds. The architecture allows for direct memory access between nodes, eliminating the need for CPU involvement and delivering ultra-fast data transmission. Additionally, the platform employs SDN (Software-Defined Networking) architecture for real-time traffic optimization and customized protocol deployment, further bolstering its performance.
InfiniSVM also utilizes a Multi-Executor framework, supporting parallel execution across multiple shards. This design, coupled with speculative execution based on pre-processing, enhances transaction efficiency. The blockchain employs a hybrid POAS consensus model that combines Proof of Authority (PoA) and Proof of Stake (PoS), ensuring enhanced security while maintaining its linkage with the Solana blockchain.
Unlike traditional Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM)-compatible Layer 2 blockchains, InfiniSVM operates without Chain IDs, relying instead on referencing the latest block hash. This design prevents cross-chain replay attacks while allowing users to seamlessly access DApps via Solana-based wallets without additional configurations. InfiniSVM shifts transaction broadcasting from wallets to DApps, significantly simplifying the user onboarding process and enhancing wallet compatibility. Additionally, Solayer provides an SDK enabling DApp developers to generate and sign transactions independently, eliminating the need to wait for wallet support.
Solayer's vision for InfiniSVM extends beyond creating a fast blockchain; it aims to serve as the foundational layer for the next generation of decentralized applications. With the launch of its DevNet, the company invites developers to experiment with the system’s performance and limitations, fostering innovation and collaboration to refine the platform further. This initiative is expected to drive the development of advanced financial applications and other decentralized services, leveraging the high-speed and scalable infrastructure provided by InfiniSVM.
