Smackover Lithium, a joint venture between Standard Lithium and Equinor, has received expressions of interest from three major export credit agencies for over $1 billion in senior secured project debt to fund Phase 1 of the South West Arkansas Project. The joint venture is seeking a total of $1.1 billion in project debt, which is expected to be comprised of the ECA financing package and other debt financing.
