Slate Auto, a new EV startup backed by Jeff Bezos, has poached a key Tesla manufacturing leader, Napoleon Reyes, to build its electric pickup truck factory in Indiana. Reyes led Model Y production ramp at Tesla's Fremont Factory and recently led the launch of the Model Y refresh. He will now serve as Senior Manager, Plant Vehicle Engineering at Slate.
