SK Hynix Advances M15X Fab Expansion with Second Cleanroom Installation and Capacity Increase

SK Hynix is installing equipment at its second clean room in the M15X fab, expected to expand capacity to 60,000 wafers per month. The chipmaker is also working on a hook-up design for the second clean room, with a target production capacity of 55,000 to 60,000 wafers per month. The company is also preparing to install air handling units at M15X and has decided to manufacture 10nm Gen 6 1c DRAM at the fab.
