The Bloomberg 500 (B500) Index has undergone its semi-annual reconstitution, adding 16 new securities to its ranks. The changes, effective prior to the open of trading on Thursday, September 11, reflect the index's commitment to transparency and representativeness. The B500, which contains the 500 most highly capitalized US companies weighted by float market cap, now includes Affirm Holdings, Inc. (AFRM), Astera Labs, Inc. (ALAB), The Carlyle Group, Inc. (CG), and other notable additions. These new members span various sectors, with Technology being the most represented, followed by Financial and Industrials.
