Sisvel Launches Wi-Fi Multimode Patent Pool, Offering Access to Standard Essential Patents

Sisvel has launched a Wi-Fi Multimode patent pool, offering access to standard essential patents owned by 10 Wi-Fi 6 and Wi-Fi 7 technology leaders. The pool's founding patent owners include Huawei, KPN, Mitsubishi Electric, and others. Sony Group Corporation has already taken a license under the program. The pool aims to provide an efficient way to access essential Wi-Fi rights for years to come, driving more R&D and innovation in the Wi-Fi market.
