Trident Digital Tech Holdings' DRC Pass digital identity system was recognized at the Africa Singapore Business Forum 2025 as a model for international collaboration. The system, implemented in partnership with the Democratic Republic of Congo, aims to enhance financial inclusion and improve public service delivery for over 110 million citizens. The recognition comes after Trident signed a public-private partnership agreement with the DRC Government in June 2025. The DRC Pass system leverages Trident's Tridentity blockchain-based identity platform and is set to become Africa's most ambitious Web 3.0 digital identity deployment.
Trident Digital Tech Holdings (TDTH) received significant recognition at the Africa Singapore Business Forum 2025 for its groundbreaking DRC Pass digital identity system. The system, implemented in partnership with the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), aims to enhance financial inclusion and improve public service delivery for over 110 million citizens. The recognition comes after Trident signed a public-private partnership agreement with the DRC government in June 2025.
The DRC Pass system leverages Trident's Tridentity blockchain-based identity platform, featuring four core applications: biometric-blockchain SIM registration, single-sign-on access to government portals, digital payments enablement, and centralized digital identity credentials. The implementation targets DRC's 80+ million mobile subscribers, utilizing Trident's Tridentity platform for secure application access and enrollment.
Minister Grace Fu of Singapore highlighted the system's significance during her keynote address, recognizing it as a prime example of successful Singapore-Africa collaboration. The system's scale and exclusivity position Trident as the exclusive provider of electronic Know Your Customer (e-KYC) services in DRC, securing a potentially lucrative long-term revenue stream.
The public-private partnership agreement signed in June 2025 establishes a formal government relationship, providing stable, recurring revenue with high switching costs once implemented. The technical implementation leverages blockchain technology, addressing four critical applications and demonstrating solution depth beyond simple ID verification.
The deployment of a nationwide digital ID system in a developing economy positions Trident at the forefront of digital infrastructure development in emerging markets with substantial growth potential. The strategic importance of this project extends beyond immediate revenue, potentially opening additional opportunities across Africa as other nations observe the DRC implementation.
