Silvaco Group has completed the acquisition of Mixel Group, a provider of semiconductor IP targeting high-growth end markets. Mixel's team will join Silvaco's Semiconductor IP Business Unit, enhancing Silvaco's capabilities in providing innovative connectivity semiconductor IP. The acquisition is expected to drive growth in the mobile, automotive, VR, AR, IoT, and robotics markets.

Silvaco Group, Inc. has completed the acquisition of Mixel Group, Inc., a provider of low-power, high-performance semiconductor IP solutions. The acquisition is expected to significantly enhance Silvaco's capabilities in providing innovative connectivity semiconductor IP, particularly in high-growth end markets such as mobile, automotive, virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR), Internet of Things (IoT), and robotics [1].

Mixel specializes in high-performance, programmable serializer/deserializer (SerDes) and physical layer (PHY) solutions, including those for mobile and mobile-influenced applications based on MIPI® Alliance applications.
