Silicon Labs announces the sixth annual Works With conference series to discuss the future of IoT. The conference will be held in Austin, Shenzhen, Bangalore, and virtually, featuring experts such as Jamie Siminoff and Robert Metcalfe. The event will focus on emerging trends and challenges in smart homes, smart cities, healthcare, industrial, and commercial IoT solutions. Works With Summit in Austin will broaden its invitation process to include senior executives and decision-makers.

Silicon Labs (NASDAQ: SLAB), a leading innovator in low-power wireless technology, has announced the sixth annual Works With IoT conference series for 2025. The series will be held in multiple global locations, including Austin, Texas; Shenzhen, China; Bangalore, India; and virtually, ensuring broader accessibility for the global IoT development community.

The Austin Summit, an invite-only event, will take place on October 1-2, 2025, and will feature notable speakers such as Jamie Siminoff, founder of Ring and Vice President of Product for Home Security at Amazon, and Robert Metcalfe, Turing Award winner and Ethernet co-inventor. The conference will focus on emerging trends and challenges in IoT, with a particular emphasis on smart homes, smart cities, healthcare, industrial, and commercial IoT solutions. The event will also highlight AI at the edge, next-generation IoT platforms, and secure wireless innovations.

New this year, the Austin Summit will broaden its invitation process to include senior executives and decision-makers, creating a unique forum for strategic discussions and high-value networking. The event will feature a fireside chat between Daniel Cooley, CTO of Silicon Labs, and Robert Metcalfe, who will discuss Metcalfe's Law and its relevance to IoT and connectivity.

The Works With IoT conference series will also include in-person events in Shenzhen on October 23 and Bangalore on October 30, followed by a virtual event on November 19-20. These events aim to bring together device manufacturers, engineers, and business leaders to further the development of IoT solutions.
