Serve Robotics Bolsters Tech Stack with Phantom Auto Acquisition

Serve Robotics has acquired the assets of Phantom Auto and its Voysys AB subsidiary for $5.75 million. The deal enhances Serve Robotics' tech stack, with Phantom Auto being a Swedish pioneer in autonomous vehicle technology. The acquisition will help Serve Robotics expand its capabilities in the autonomous delivery market.

Serve Robotics Inc. (Nasdaq: SERV), a leading autonomous sidewalk delivery company, has announced the acquisition of Phantom Auto Inc. and its subsidiary, Voysys AB, for approximately $5.75 million in cash. The acquisition aims to enhance Serve's technology stack, particularly in ultra-low latency video streaming and teleoperation technology, which are critical for autonomous delivery operations.

Voysys AB, founded in 2014, specializes in video and data streaming solutions that enable reliable connectivity over heterogeneous networks. The company's proprietary technology offers glass-to-glass latency as low as 50 milliseconds, setting a new benchmark for safe and reliable connectivity. This acquisition will significantly bolster Serve's ability to operate its growing fleet of autonomous delivery robots in dense urban environments.

Voysys will continue to operate as a standalone entity, maintaining and expanding its existing contracts with global clients. These clients include a major European commercial vehicle manufacturer, a middle-mile autonomous trucking company, and next-generation robotics company Maniro AI. Serve will support the expansion of Voysys' capabilities to better serve clients across various industries, strengthening the global ecosystem for autonomous vehicles and robotics.

This acquisition underscores Serve's commitment to investing in mission-critical capabilities as it scales. It complements Serve's recent acquisition of Vayu Robotics, which aims to accelerate the adoption of end-to-end foundation AI-based autonomy. Together, these acquisitions position Serve at the forefront of the autonomous delivery and embodied AI industries.
